Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5, 6), taught them to pray saying:
“Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.”
His expectation is that we pray knowing we already possess the healing, the peace, the joy, the protecting, and the provision that we need.
Our prayers should be our request to see that which is already completed in heaven to be manifested on earth.
I always need to remind myself of this. Some days my prayers wreak desperation and unbelief.
Remind yourself that you are loved and God desires for you to receive the unlimited blessings which are already yours in heaven in your life here on earth.
