People tell me all the time how brave I am!
They don’t believe me when I tell them I am usually terrified when I make any move, big or small.
My mantra for years has been “Do it Afraid!”
It served me well.
But earlier this year, as I contemplated a new move and all that could go wrong, the word in my spirit from the Lord, was Do not be afraid.
It hit different.
I realised it was an instruction. It is written all over His word but for some reason, I had always been treating it as optional.
In that moment, I realised that God would not give me an instruction outside of what was in His capacity to perform and for me to achieve.
He clearly believes that it is possible for me to not be afraid to step into new things. That although it is unknown, fear doesn’t have to be a part of my future.
Since this realisation, my mantra has become Live Fearless!
Choosing to Live Fearless has been freeing! I have permission to walk on water, make bigger moves and believe for more.
“Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20
