No. I didn’t forget to change the caption on the image.
It’s a reminder that I don’t need to come to the Lord knowing exactly what to say, what to ask for, or how to address Him.
There was a time (read well over a year) when the only prayer I could pray was “Help.”
No other way to articulate the despair, the lack of direction, and the hopelessness I felt.
There was no point in trying to fake eloquence. I was desperate and the only place I turn is to the cross of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 120: 1 – In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me. (KJV)
Help is a perfectly legitimate prayer that God is willing and able to answer.
This week cry out to God in every situation.
