I’m wearing orange today! One of my favourite colours but today its for a global cause. The United Nation’s Women org is promoting #orangeurworld in #16days in an effort to bring attention to the need for women and girls to live a life without violence.

Here are some alarming statistics:

40 – 50% of women in EU countries face unwanted sexual advances or other forms of sexual harassment at work.

Over 64 million girls worldwide are child brides. 1 in 3 girls will be married before they turn 18.

1 in 3 women & girls experience violence in their lifetime.
